Pacific Pearl is quite spacious and has plenty of lounges. It offers a casual and good value cruise experience for those who like buffet dining and lots of activities. Best suited to families, younger couples and first time cruisers.  Pacific Pearl passengers tend to be Fun loving mixed ages and Mainly from Australia & New Zealand. When all cabins have double occupancy, the ship provides a space ratio of 40 tons per passenger and a crew to passenger ratio of one for every 2.3 passengers. At full capacity the space ratio is 34.4 tons per passenger and the crew ratio is one to 2.7 passengers.

Nearly all cabins are of a good size and are well equipped with TV, hairdryer, fridge, safe and tea and coffee making kit. However sound insulation is poor. Bathrooms have a good sized shower but bathtubs are only provided in the suites.

There are 2 gym areas, yoga, spa, sauna, treatment rooms, jogging track, mountain bikes, golf nets, volleyball, table tennis, deck football and cricket nets. There is a good amount of deck space but it becomes very crowded around the pools on sea days.

Casual and comfortable during the day. Evenings range from smart casual (shirt & trousers) to informal (jacket and tie for gentlemen and casual elegance for ladies). Formal evenings require a suit or dinner jacket for men and a cocktail dress for ladies.
Allow £3.50 per passenger day for cabin and restaurant staff. 15% will automatically be added on all drinks and beauty treatments.

Wheelchair access is good. There are wheelchair adapted cabins but difficulties going ashore may be experienced where tenders are used or the gangway access is steep.  Hoists are not provided and passengers will need to bring their own.

The rating for children is Good. There is a fully supervised Base Camp children's centre with wading pool, hideout teen area and night nursery for age ranges 2-17 year olds.
